Tour Operators

We look forward to welcoming you and your group to the Hamburger Kunsthalle. All important information for tour operators can be found here. There are various ways in which you can visit the Hamburger Kunsthalle with your group.

Private guided tour

An art educator from our experienced team accompanies your group through the collection or exhibitions. 

60 mins. guided tour through the collection or an exhibition

90 mins. guided tour through the collection or an exhibition

Licenced tour

If you are coming with your own art educator, book a licenced tour. There is a licence fee of €20 per group plus the group rate per person.

Group registration

If you would like to visit the museum without your own art educator, the licence fee does not apply and you only pay the group rate per person. Please note that group visits of eight persons or more must always be registered, even without a guided tour.

Highlight exhibitions

60 mins. guided tour €110 plus admission (group admission €14, for groups of eight or more)
90 mins. guided tour €125 plus admission (group admission €14, for groups of eight or more)

Group rate

The group rate is €14 per person (for groups of eight or more).

€90 plus admission (group admission €14, for groups of eight or more)

90 mins. guided tour

€105 plus admission (group admission €14, for groups of eight or more)

Foreign language surcharge

Our guided tours are also available in other languages, including English, French, Russian, Italian and Spanish. There is a foreign language surcharge of €12.

Holiday surcharge

Please note that a holiday surcharge of €12 applies on Sundays and public holidays.

Licence fee

The licence fee is €20 per group

Group registration

There are no additional costs for just the registration, group rate per person.

The respective tickets are available both online and at the museum box offices on site.

Subject to change without notice: the fees for private guided tours and the maximum number of participants per group may vary for special exhibitions.

Bookings and group registrations for tour operators are to be made via e-mail to customer relations at: besucherbuero@hamburger-kunsthalle.de or via webform.

In order to process your booking or group registration efficiently, we request the following information from you:

• Your address
• The number of persons (max. 25 people)
• Which area of the museum would you like to visit? (collection, exhibitions)
• Are you bringing your own art educator?
• Private guided tour: the requested duration of the tour (60 or 90 minutes)
• Your preferred date and time for the visit

We will gladly check the availability of the desired date for you, hoewever, please allow at least a two weeks’ notice.
