International Summer Festival Kampnagel 2024

In collaboration with Hamburger Kunsthalle, Summer Festival presents performances, installations, and a film screening evening at various locations in Hamburg. The works are realized as part of the exhibition »untranquil now« at the Kunsthalle, which explores forms of displacement of the stage, heterogeneous narratives and the relationship of artworks to memory and intimacy. It proposes a web of historical resonances and coincidences. In the Kunsthalle itself, additional pieces by Summer Festival artists Lucinda Childs, Trisha Brown, Tacita Dean, Latifa Lâabissi / Manon de Boer and Anri Sala, are on display.
