If you've ever wondered how artists prepare for an exhibition, whether artists also work in a home office, what it's actually like in a studio, or which artists serve as inspiration, then click through. Since April 2020, we have been giving artists the floor and let them use our Instagram account. Take a look at new works, directly into the studio or be in the middle of the exhibition setup.

Limbo Accra

The artist collective Limbo Accra is represented in our exhibition »untranquil now« with their work »The Liminal Archive«. Dominique Petit-Frère is a spatial designer and researcher who splits her time between New York City and Accra, Ghana. As the co-founder and director of Limbo Accra, she has established the studio as a pioneering force in revitalizing neglected urban spaces, transforming them into vibrant environments that foster cultural exchange and resilience. Through commissioned projects and architectural proposals, Dominique embraces an intuitive, forward-thinking approach to experience, materials, and space.

Bastian Muhr

In his artistic practice, Bastian Muhr concentrates on formal issues revolving around drawing, developing various systems of lines and forms using a brush, pencil or chalk on paper, concrete or grass. In the process, he radically reduces his signature style. Over the years, he has developed his own typology by testing and developing ideas of form. The artist regularly develops large site-specific works in and with art institutions or in public space. Muhr also redesigned the foyer of the Gallery of Contemporary Art at the end of May 2024.
